I am your West Central, Missouri lifestyle, (mostly) true to color, portrait, event, and everything in between photographer. I also heavily value privacy, especially that of children. You will no longer see their faces shared online. When sharing session photos I’ll either cover or share photos with them looking away.

With the many hats I wear, being a mama comes first, please anticipate a 2 week turn around time for regular sessions and 6-10 weeks for events (including weddings). I also have a 72-96 hour response window, if you have not heard from me by then please don't hesitate to reach out again or through a separate platform as sometimes messages get missed!!
I love lists, I always have a list of poses/ prompts I want to do with you (and the fam) to work through your session to best meet your wants and my creative style! (ask my hubby about our meal planning and shopping. hehe).

I'm Tenaya! Mama to W + S + M, wifey to Ray! Originally, I'm from NorCal, but the military sent me to AZ and MO. After 2 brutal AZ summers we moved back to the midwest to raise our boys. In my free time, I enjoy baking, embroidery, checking Target for new Pixar Cars, and reading. I’m currently in the ACOTAR series! I love getting to know my clients and their families! I strive to connect on a deeper level than just photographer and client and hope to make life long connections!
My sister had her first baby in 2018, we set up a makeshift studio in our mom's living room, I borrowed a camera, and captured all the tiny features. I have since done all but one of the newborn photos for my family!
Baby W was born in 2022, while on maternity leave I visited my family in CA. My brother — a senior in high school — asked me to do his senior portraits, we went to the mountains and captured him in his element.
